If I could give less than 1 star I would...
I originally went to Valley Tile on 10/23/11 and paid in full for a hardwood floor ($1727.16). Days later, I got a call from Bob the salesperson who informed me that the wood was out of stock and the order must be cancelled. So I requested the refund to be sent to me and he estimated 2 weeks to receive my refund. Two weeks later I did not receive my refund, but now I also needed floor tile for my bathroom.
I went back to Valley Tile. I told Bob that I needed the tile quickly because my contractors were waiting on it. Bob helped me pick out a tile with bullnose trim that he made sure was in stock by calling the factory. He told me we could pick up the next day 3pm. My contractor went to pick it up 2 days later, and no tile had been delivered, even though Ray confirmed that the tile had been delivered. When I called, they told me it would be several more days. I decided to cancel and pick up tile elsewhere so that I could complete my bathroom, and Bob acknowledged my refund request.
I've called weekly and talked to Bob, Rey, or Diamond (the owner) to request my refund check. They don't call back or act when they say they will. The last time I spoke to Diamond was early January and he mised that I would get a check the following week. I still have not received it. I just don't have the time for these delay tactics, and I don't have time to keep pestering them for my refund. This has been the worst business I've ever had to deal with.
I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau 1/12/12-- still no response or refund. Next step is small claims court.
