I moved in to Riverdale a couple years ago, and during that time the building was sold to Parkoff, from day one, the expereince plummeted. I was able to move out this year, and only recently got my security deposit back - and that was only after legal threats and pressure from an attorney - 4 months later. The building is great, and we actually miss it, but the management absolutely kills it. You do everything right as tennants - yet they treat you like scum. Many tennants, many of whom have been there for decades feel stuck, and dont know what to do with themselves. I'm happy to have been able to leave when I could. They are rats, and if you are looking to move to Riverdale, dont move in to the Netherland Avenue property. Save yourself the trouble, as they simply do not care about you. Look at their website - does it look like they want anything to do with you, or want to talk to anyone?
