First of all, this is a guy that fixes peoples' shoes for a living. That's what he does and he is good at it. He will tell you matter-of-fact what he can an can not do and charge you a ridiculously low price for his work. Having attempted to stretch my own shoes in the past, I can tell you that it takes several days, and I was unsuccessful. this guy told me up front it would take 3 days to do properly, and now I have a pair of proper fitting shoes. Charged me 10 bucks. If you are having a bad day and need a hug, your neighborhood cobbler is not the guy to help you. Local craftsmen deserve our support--it's hard enough to make a living as it is
