We went to celebrate a birthday and expected more from a steakhouse in Dunwoody. We live in dunwoody and were thrilled wihen we called and were told there were plenty of tables available, especially since this was St. Patrick's Day. \r

When we arrived, the valet staff was prompt and courteous. The trouble began when we approached the front door. The cigarette/cigar smoke was very overwhelming and followed us into the restaurant. The reception was cold, as was the entire experience. We really felt like we weren't welcome at the restaurant and the staff was just putting up with us. \r

The wait person was very nonchalant and not very helpful. In fact his attitude bordered on insolent. The steak was not cooked to order so we had to send it back. It was brought back almost immediately and still not to order. The server never came back. We caught a manager walking by about 15 minutes later, who immediately returned the steak and got it prepared correctly. A new server brought the steak back and we never saw the original server again. Although we were offered a free dessert for our trouble, the entire experience was just too upsetting.\r

Because this is a highly rated and expensive restaurant, we deserved a personal apology from the manager and better service than we got. I will most definitely NEVER visit thes restaurant again. I will also never recommend it to anyone. A very disappointing experience indeed.
