I don't even want to give this location 1 star. I walked in for my appointment for a pedi and haircut and had to wait for someone to help me, even though no one at reception was busy. They took my name and said it would be a few minutes. At Dosha NW I would have been escorted to the waiting area and given something to drink while I waited. I was completely ignored after checking in as if they could not be bothered with a customer, they went right back to their little chitter-chatter. The place is way too noisy to be relaxing for a SPA. The music is turned up way too loud and the front door is left open to noisy Hawthorn St. The Dosha pedi that asked for left a bit to be desired as it was rushed and I was never made to feel comfortable. When it came time for the cut with Lindsay Blodgett she butchered my hair. I told her right up front all I needed was a trim and to keep the style I had. She determined that I had thick hair and it needed to be thinned out. I have fine medium thick hair that should never be thinned out. I told her that my hair tends to be very frizzy and curly. By thinning it out she ensured that the frizz could not be tamed even with a flat iron. She thinned so much hair on one side that it ended up uneven. This woman should not be let near a pair of scissors ever! Stay away from Dosha Hawthorn and Lindsay Blodgett.
