I had to make an unexpected trip out of town. I took my dog to Wag Hotel in SF for boarding. The price was outrageous. I spent more on his hotel than mine. But beyond that, when I picked him up, he seemed a little off. I took him to the vet a couple of days later and he tested positive for giardia. Since I hadn't boarded him anywhere in a year, I have to assume he got it there.\r

The following weekend I had a pre-planned trip out of town and was planning on boarding him there. I called them and told him about the situation. They said they could probably take him if he was isolated from the other dogs, but he would have to be in their ""special needs"" program, which was an additional 35 bucks a day.\r

So you want to pay $35 a day on top of the $85 I'm already paying because of something he got there? I don't think so.\r

I would not take my dog to Wag if I were you.\r
