Called to order a pizza on game day (Sunday afternoon). "No delivery driver until 5pm". What???
I'll update the review when I can actully EAT the pizza.
Update: Tried again (game day Sunday) and they did not have a delivery driver, but said they "would call one in" and thus, would take an hour to deliver. (Every other pizza place in town has drivers). Pizza came in 1:05. When I called in, the person taking my call put the phone down and forgot about me, but apologized when I called back.
As for the pizza itself, it was good, but not awesome. I usually buy from round table.
The crust is doughey and had no crisp at all, which is what I expect from a high end pizza. Thus the crust will get soggy quickly. Ingredient quality is high, flavor is good, good amount of toppings.
Bottom line: Better than average pizza but with a hassle if you want delivery. I would say it's a toss up with Round Table - Round table has a better crust, Flying Pie has superior ingredients. Round Table is no hassle delivery, FP is a headache to get a pizza to your door.
