I have to reply to the ""Wake Up People"" review. I have been going to Simone for over 15 years. I have followed her to 3 different locations. She by no means is the type of person to write reviews about herself. Simone explains to me what she is doing to my hair and over the years I have picked up on terms that most people do not use. In response to the shop being obsessed with City Search I think you are forgetting that we are in a technical age. I don't use this site because well I have been going to Simone forever. But I do use it for things like restaurants. Getting your customers to write reviews online is actually good for business. As you can see that people have found the salon via this website. Especially in these tough times it makes sense to use all of the free marketing that is out there. I have encountered only one person in all of my time of going to Simone who did not like her haircut. I knew she did had not explained what she wanted completely and did not voice her concern over the cut. If you don't say anything how you can get what you want or get it fixed. So to the reviewer you need to get over yourself...\r

Like I said in my response I have been going to Simone for over 15 years. I have had the bowl cut with it shaved underneath, a traditional clean cut male haircut, highlights, and razor cuts. Over the years I have realized that I do not voice what I want, primarily because I don't know how to explain. So I usually just let Simone do what she thinks is best with only minimal restrictions: it must be able to be both professional and funky. My cuts always enable me to go to work and look like a professional but when I want I can add styling products to make it a little crazy and funky. I have a ton of hair and it is very straight. When she started using the razor on my hair to cut it took out tons of the body. Needless to say I will continue to go to Simone no matter where she has her shop...\r
