Best Fish Market in Massachusetts 2/28/2009

Got sushi? Even better - try making your own. I have to admit that I was a bit intimidated the first time I made my own sushi. But thanks to the New Deal, they made it easy and now I'm hooked! This place has the best seafood for making sushi and sashimi without killing your budget. They also carry all of the fixings for it, including ikura (salmon roe), tobikko (flying fish roe), rice, nori, wasabi, pickled ginger, and so on. \r \r If sushi is not for you, they also carry a wide assortment of seafood, including whole fish and beautiful cuts of salmon, tuna, swordfish and exotic fishes from around the world, i.e. sardines, anchovies, baby octopus, red mullet, grouper and red snapper, just to name a few. Quite impressive selection and I was told that the variety changes daily. \r \r A family-run market. Staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. You won't be disappointed. Pros: Great selection of sushi quality seafood Cons: Go early for best selections - Saturdays: Long lines, wait time (but worth it) more
