I Paid for Torture 8/12/2008

I am a regular Dosha VIP and needed a brow wax. I usually visit Dosha NW but as Dosha in Vogue is very close to my work, I decided to try them out. I was immediately put off by the buildings exterior yet was relieved by the wonderful surroundings inside. The staff was very friendly and quickly ushered me into a lovely waiting area. The wax technician was very polite yet didn't say much. I told her I wanted a natural look and just needed the edges cleaned up. She said she understood and began. She must have used a different kind of wax because she ripped off some skin on one spot. After she finished, I was greeted by brows that she had shaped to a point (not natural looking at all) and to different lengths. When I asked her why one side was longer than the other, she said she thought one side was just longer normally. I know my face and one is NOT longer than the other. She said she could "fix it" by waxing even more off. "ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!!" VIP I do not feel by any stretch of the imagination. And for those of you who may not know, this is no longer a training site as citysearch states; it is a regular Dosha salon. I expect Dosha quality and did not get it. This could be an isolated event; nonetheless, I will never return to this location, no matter how convenient. I expect quality and excellence from Dosha and was horribly let down here. I can't believe I paid to have my face tortured so drastically. If you haven't figured it out by now, I DO NOT RECOMMEND this location. I will give Dosha a second chance though as this is my first negative experience. Pros: Convenient location Cons: Disfigurement, parking more
