My 8 year old cat has had chronic ear infections for years and nothing seemed to help. Eventually, he was diagnosed with a ""likely"" polyp. the only way to know 100% was to get a $1,500 MRI. We skipped the MRI and went ahead with a ventral bulla osteotomy, in which the surgeon enters the middle ear through the neck, removes the polyp along with any infected material as well as some bone.
Pros: Compassionate, patient, professional, connects with animals
Cons: Expensive (but they all are)
