This was my first experience with a jeweler, making a large purchase. After checking out some big boxes like Jared with my fiancee, I decided to do a little more research. The big boxes gave me an uneasy feeling and I don't trust them. I found Jay here on Citysearch and after seeing such consistent, positive reviews felt I had to at least check him out. I was impressed by the awards, bio and website. My fiancee and I knew that we wanted something antique / vintage and unique and Jay seemed like he could pull it off based on his website. They educated us about diamonds, ...more than the research I'd done on the net already and I felt confident that Jay could deliver what we wanted. We took pictures of what we were looking for so there wouldn't be miscommunication.
