I used Heartland Home Finance for a home loan. It was the worst experience of my life. The gentlemen did a "stated" loan, never asked me for proper documentation, and refered me to a contractor that took off with $22,990 on repairs for the house that I purchased. The contractor ended up being the loan officers cousin. When I tried to contact the person overseeing all of the loan officers there, I was given the "run-around", and the situation was brushed under the rug and ignored. I was told by this loan officer that my monthly payment included taxes and insurance. It did not. If you are looking for an honest, legitimate loan company, this is not the company I would use!!
