After calling for a cab at 10:15 pm Sun May 27, I asked "how soon can I get a cab?" I was told by John.."as soon as you tell me where you are" 30 minutes later, I phoned and said I was still waiting...John replied "you and everyone else I'll have someone there for you shortly". After 1 hour and 20 minutes I phoned again only to have John holler over the phone that someone would be here as soon as possible. I yelled back "forget it!" I tried to phone other cab services, but some had different phone numbers which rang to "King Cab". As a new resident of Charlotte, I am disappointed with the (lack of ) service I received. I do not have another cab "experience" to compare this to in Charlotte....I have NEVER been treated this way by any other cab service in any of the several cities and countries I have visited. more
