I never write reviews but my experience at Cafe Allegro recently inspired me to warn people that this place isn't what it used to be. First of all, when an Italian place you expect to smell food-especially garlic. It was instantly noticeable that you didn't smell the aroma of food cooking. Then when the food came it was obvious-the stuff was precooked and reheated. I order fettucini alfredo with chicken and got chicken cubes instead of a sliced chicken breast. My wife ordered a chicken and sausage rissotto and got the same chicken cubes-which were coincidently dried out. Furthermore, the place was too cold to take off your jacket. This place used to be a great little place but I will not go back again. The food was simply bland and obviously cooked well ahead of our arrival.
Pros: Parking, price etc.
Cons: Bland and uninspired food
