I, like many others had very high expectations for Hamasaku due to hype. But as we all know, hype comes cheap in LA. But the sushi at Hamasaku sure doesn't. I had a reservation for 9, was seated by 10:30? But to be fair, even Keyshawn Johnson who was also there had to wait an hour to be seated. The sushi rolls range in price from $15- $25 per roll. If you like a lot of rice and prefer Tuna and Avocado on every roll this is your place. I was unimpressed, especially since I paid $140 for two people. I could have eaten like a king at Katsu Ya at that price. Probably won't go back.
Pros: Tuna
Cons: Ambience, Wait, Expensive
