From beginning to end, my meal was absolutely delicious. I ordered the soup of the day, cream of carrot. I was curious and skeptical, but from the first spoonful, I was in heaven. I am not quite sure about the review that commented on the bread and butter as unimaginative- it was fantastic! With every bite I was trying to decipher the ingredients in that spread, to no avail. And the bread was obviously homemade. The wine list offers a good selection of by the glass options, I especially like the S. African red with a nice filet. But the coup de grace was definitely the creme brulee. Topped with fresh berries, it was definitely sized to share, but so delicious I finished it alone anyway. The prices were much more reasonable than I had expected with the $$$$ rating from citysearch. I will be dining there again soon.
