Roxy was a nightmare-ish restaurant experience. I didn't have a good first impression upon walking in --- the seats, tables, ambiance were all too commonplace with no style at all, but what really got under my skin was the horrible food and staff. The brisket sandwich was tastless, and for a restaurant that serves Greek Salad it didn't even bother to stock Greek dressing! Not even Mediterranean dressing! The croissants were so dry and bland. To top that off was our waitress. She was smile-less with a snappy attitude, she put everything down with a loud sound, and shuffled us the bill without us asking for it. We originally planned to eat and relax from 4pm to around 6:30pm, but the waitress was obviously trying to sabotage that plan by rushing us to leave. We had the guts to stay put after finishing the food, and just sat and drank and talked, ignoring her hovering around. Thank goodness that waitress evaporated later and our subsequent waiter was ok. Our seat was close to the door on the first floor, so I got to notice what must be the smallest, dirtiest kitchen in the whole city, overheard rude chastisizing by a manager to a server, and endured bad music. There was so much drama that made me wonder whether I was in a Broadway show or what. Of course the dish was overpriced, Roxy obviously does not care about you coming back, they just try to squeeze as much money as they can on your first and only visit there.
