Good: We like the reasonable prices, the hours, the convenience, the doctors (they really know what they are talking about), and that someone is there 24 hours a day.. Bad: sometimes i have to wait a bit on the phone. Improvements: faster service on the phone.

A few years ago I purchased several iguana babies. After a few months, one would die, since they are very difficult to keep in an enclosed environment. The staff was always wonderful about the death and very helpful in finding an appropriate replacement. I also purchased lots of fish there and could not have been happier with the selection and prices.

Upon adopting a kitten, we were given the name of several veterinary clinics we could choose to get our kittens free shots and spaying at.
We chose the Olivette Veterinary Clinic and have never regretted it.
Dr. Levinson treats every pet like it's his own and the staff is the same way.
The rates for shots and well visits are very reasonable and they can see you almost any time you call needing an appointment.
There are several "house" cats walking around the clinic as an added treat. There is always someone to pet and looking for a scratch.

We took our Pomeranian to Groomingdale's for an overall grooming. They did a nice job. They took extra time with me beforehand discussing the options for cutting my dog's hair, and called me later in the day to tell me that the conclusion we had reached really wasn't going to work out. They did a really nice job, my dog seemed no worse for wear. Their prices are pretty much on par with everywhere else in the area, and it took about the same amount of time as other places do (which is always suprisingly long in my opinion). I'll return.

I hate to hear that someone had a bad experience with these folks as I have had nothing but great care for my 3 dogs. I have not boarded my dogs, but they have been going to Rock Road Animal hospital for almost 8 years for all of their health care. Our oldest lab had lime disease and we did not know it. The doctor worked with us till it was found and our dog acts like a pup again. I've gone to other places due to our dog's breeder, but always come back because they are so personable and professional.

After an unfortunate experience with a different facility, we were reluctant to leave our pets but were given Kennelwood Village's name as a reliable, safe place to board our cats.
We were immediately and warmly greeted by the staff, given tours of the entire facility and they were eager to answer any questions that we had concerning the safety of our pets.
The actual boarding facilities for each animals was quite large and they were by no means cramped or given minimal care.
The dog facilities were amazing and the cat's were given plenty of room also.
Our cats acted perfectly fine upon picking them up- like it was no big deal to be put in a carrier and away from us. Any cat owner knows that it is a big deal.
We definitely recommend Kennelwood. If you can't be there to take care of your pet, they will. They'll treat them like a member of their family.

I have been taking my dog to VCA Bal-Coeur on New Ballas Rd. for several years, and I have never received better service or quality of care for my animals at another clinic. Not only is their office extremely comfortable, but their staff is excellent. Each person, from the receptionist to the technicians to the veterinarians, take superb care of my dog and make us feel 100% at home and comfortable. I always leave their office knowing that my dog was thoroughly examined and received the best care in the area.

This is the best dog obedience school around! I can not praise them enough. My dog went from destructive and uncontrollable to perfectly obedient. The center has all different types of classes, from puppy, to basic obedience, to competition classes. There is a lot of work to do at home with the dog, but that's what reinforces the teaching. They offer so many different schedules, finding one for you shouldn't be a problem.
