I have eaten at hot tamales more times than i would like to, and it has always been the same, absolutely and completely tasteless. Then it dawned on me... I ordered a bean burrito and asked for extra onions. Well... the server kindly informed me, "we don't have onions." Well, I ask you, what kind of mexican or texmex restaurant does not have onions???? That is strike one, other than that, their food is bland. Salsa's taste better out of a jar than the ones they serve, and their verion of "hot sauce" is nothing but the cheap stuff from the dollar store. So if you are looking for flavorless and bland "mexican" food, by all means eat at Hot Tamales.
