When I first moved here from Arizona, a friend suggested we go out for Mexican good. I cringed at the thought of southern style Mexican food. We went to Las Palmas and I was very pleasantly surprised. The food was served promptly and hot. The flavor was good, not hidden under too many spices and most pleasing for those who cannot eat the hottest seasoning. It was more inline with the style of Mexican Food I was accustomed to in the Southwest. The variety of items is good and the family atmosphere is great. They must be doing something right as I have yet to go for dinner or lunch and it not be packed.
