I have used Direct General Insurance for more than 10 years with only one accident that was my fault (which was 9 years ago) since then I have only had one ticket for seat belt usage.. In the last 3 years Ihave only used Liability Ins. on my older vehicle. When it came time to renew this year they wanted to raise my rates for no reason. I am paying more than my 22 year old daughter which is ridiculous. So I went on the internet and found a company that gave me full coverage with more coverage than Direct for 20 dollars more a month. Now I feel safe to know that my car will be fixed in caseof an accident.
