When I first moved to Greenville, the Carmike had been built very recently (late 90s). After all this time, the only time I ever saw it in bad shape was this summer when one of the bathrooms was in bad shape that night. But other than that one incident it has been kept fairly well. I have no idea what the previous person is saying when they claim that ""movie times are yelled out by staff members"". I don't think I've ever witnessed that happening. Actually, a computerized screen/bulletin board on both sides of the lobby shows the movie /seating start times. If there have been incidents when movie start times have had to be verbally announced, it is probably because of idiots who do not know how to read the information being broadcast right in front of them. That is sad, but typically southern. Thank God I'm outtie!
