I can understand why tourists, suburbanites and uptight families flock to PF Chang's (they just don't know better)...but I cannot believe that the editors/reviewers also give it the thumbs up and place it in the Best of Boston catagory.
PF Chang's is NOT a chinese eatery by any means, but a dive that fashions itself after the schizophrenic theme restaurants at Epcot. If readers want greta Asian fusion, go to Blue Ginger...If you want fantastic, AUTHENTIC Chinese, stretch the extra 0.2 miles to Chinatown.
But...if you're a goofy tourist, stay with PF...you deserve each other.
