The room is nice and high class. Sure it has a pool. But price is always over $100. There is Friday down stairs. Hooters nearby. Some fastfood restaurants (Hardy, McDonald, Wendy, a pizza place). A supermartet and a oriental store. Free parking. On the bus route. A dry cleansing and a famous local ice cream store nearby.

The Gold's B&B is simple. Your room is nice, clean, with a few nic-nacs, but not much. The best part of the stay is visiting with the Gold's. Mr. Gold has so many stories, he brought out photos to share with us. While the breakfast isn't all out eggs and bacon and such, there is more than you can eat, and displayed beautifully-we had a wedge of pineapple cut into bite-sized pieces with yogurt and berries on top-it was beautiful and delicious! They also had cereals, bagels, cinnamon rolls and more! The house sits amidst corn crops, but has beautiful landscaping, several small barns and a garden. The Gold's grandchildren to come to visit and you'll see their toys in the toy room! I definitely recommend this place because the owner's are so nice, but also because it rivals or beats the hotel prices!!

I didn't have an experience in living in this hotel so I don't know about the room service. Yet, I went to this hotel many times for community activities. This hotel often holds community activities such as stamps and coins exhibition and I think that is very sweet. It also often has some clothes sales held by the dealers who get many out of date clothese from some famous brand companies, such as banana republic, express, AE, etc. The overall feeling of this hotel is old though.

The accommodations you'll find at this hotel are abotu what you'd expect for a Holiday Inn. Their restaurant does have a good brunch though. They'll make your omelet and all the other traditional breakfast fixings. The location is great- right off of I-74 so if you're travelling it's the place to go. You won't find many restaurants around that part of Champaign so head back to the Neil St exit if you want to eat somewhere other than at the hotel.

We stayed at the Red Roof Inn when we came out to find housing because we found a good deal on hotels.com. The people who worked there were pretty friendly and helpful, but I don't think that staying there was worth the savings that we were getting. It smelled bad ( which is a really big issue for me), and it just seemed really old and not very clean. I don't need a lot out of a hotel room, but it would be nice if it was clean and smelled ok.
