the aquarium is so very much better than downtown houston's and the IMAX is a must! (Get your seats early so you don't have to sit in the front.) The ""food court"" on premises was the worst at a major attraction I've ever seen. The service was poorer than poor. Clearly there is no hospitality manager on staff at Moody Gardens. Bring your own food and tailgate in the parking lot.
don't disallusion yourself, it's no disney world, but it's a great half day trip.
Pros: free parking, short lines, knowledgeable staff
Cons: no onsite dining
