This food at this place is so bland, it can't pass for authentic Thai. The only ""spice"" they seem to know is sweet. Vegetables drown in heavy sweet-ish gravy. Asked whether they made fish with chili sauce, they answered ""sure"", but came back with a weak (and sweet) imitation of it. Sure the atmosphere is pleseant, but my dinner companions and I, who have had the privilege of living in Asia and eating authentic Thai food in Thailand, cannot recommend this place. Go to Thai Spice Fast Food on Bellaire Blvd. @ Mary Bates--it's homey Thai food with a kick (and it's so reasonably priced).
