It is so surprising that Portland, home of small businesses would support such a major name. It's popular only for convenienc and laziness on the consumers part. Customers aren't willing to take the time to search for the nearest locally owned coffee stand or shop which is sure to be within walking distance of any starbucks if it is fortunate enough to still be breathing. Private coffee shops serve better coffee at an extremely more reasonable price than any Plague of the Earth (Starbucks)
