I hadn't been to the Historical Society since I was a child and hadn't been terribly excited about returning.
However, once inside, I was surprisingly charmed by the presentation of Missouri history and immediately taken in by the interesting exhibits and the way they were presented.
We learned about the Cholera Epidemic in the early 1900's, all about Lewis and Clark and my daughter was particularly transfixed with the replica of the Spirit of St. Louis.
The Seeking St. Louis exhibit is very interesting and just seeing some of the artifacts is in itself worth the trip.
If you're interested in a day that is educational and can intersting even to the kids, this is a place to consider.
