My first and only experience with William Bunch Auctions was a real shock. I placed a bid on an item. Although I never heard back from the auction house, I decided to check on the results for the item. Much to my surprise, I saw that the bid I submitted was the winning bid. Consequently, I contacted customer service to inquire why I wasn't notified. After fumbling around, the final excuse I was given was that they had received a bid of equal value to mine via mail. They explained that the bid by mail was "misplaced", but since it was submitted prior to my online bid, the "other party" won. Can you imagine a more ridiculous excuse?
Needless to say, fool me once shame on you; fool me twice shame on me.
