Miss diagnosed several times!! 5/16/2015

We took our dog to this vet immediately when I noticed a lump come up suddenly on her chest. We saw a "tech" but at this time I thought we were seeing a vet. They said everthing was fine, it was just a bee sting. So we gave her benedryl for 2 days, the lump was not going away. I took her back up there, they said it was a swollen lymph node and sent her home with 10 days of antibiotics. I kept telling them something was not right. Half way through the antibiotics I took her back up there telling them something was wrong with my dog. She hasnt been acting herself and she was breathing weird. These people kept blowing me off, saying she was too "young" for it to be anything serious. I insisted they do some testing,x rays,etc..they would not do anything I asked besides blood work. So for the 4th time in 12 days, I took her back up there and insisted on seeing another vet. Billie ended up seeing her. He did the x ray and noticed a huge tumor inside my dogs chest which ended up being lymphoma and she ended up passing away. Billie was really nice and apologized, but it didnt change the fact that these people miss diagnosed my dog and continually blew me off when I kept bringing my pet up there saying something was wrong. These "techs" should not be seeing peoples pets. They dont know what they are doing, and they didnt even act like they liked animals. Maybe things would have been different if they would have listened to the person that was around her everyday of her life, telling them something was really wrong with my pet. Maybe she would still be alive if it was caught earlier. Please dont take your pet to these people. Maybe this will help save someone elses pet. She was not just a dog to us, she was our family and we will never take another one of our family members to these people!! more
