I brought in my 3 year old down winter coat because it was in the worst shape you have ever seen. The inside lining was all ripped up, the outside armpit of one of the sleeves had a hole and feathers were escaping, the buttons for the hood were literally hanging on by a thread and I asked BR to fix all of this. I love this coat and it is worth it to have it repaired vs going out and buying a new one.
When they were inspecting the coat I got the feeling that the outlook was grim, they were discussing replacing the lining and were shocked at how many holes were in the seams. They told me it would take two weeks to repair. I waited and went to pick it up and I was so happy. The coat looks as good as it did when I first purchased it. They sewing repairs they did are impeccable. I really wasn't expecting to be as pleased as I was.
And the best part is that the price was totally reasonable even before the Groupon was deducted. I was expecting to pay at least $100 (I also brought in a wool coat to have cleaned) and it was much less than that.
