DO NOT let the Kenneth's at Polaris touch your hair. They ruined me. I went in with long hair down my back and wanted a long bob that was below chin length. I had ten pages of photos of Rene Russo's hair from The Thomas Crowne Affair. I made it clear that I HATE the short in back look and longer in front. But what did I get? A reverse mullet!!!!!! It's the Kate Gosselin haircut. They cut the back of my hair in 1-inch layers up to my crown, notched out the ears, and then made long as assymetrical wings in front. The first girl, Erica, had made a mistake cutting off my ponytail (I was donating my hair) too short and uneven. It was shorter than I wanted but it could have been evened out, but she panicked and just quit on me. The manager sent me to Zoe, who proceeded to ignore everything I said about hating the reverse mullet. She took off an an addition 3 inches or so, but she wouldn't let me see a mirror so I didn't realize what she was doing. When I got upset when I saw the front and reached up and felt the back, she said, "Well, you're not getting the haircut you wanted, so get over it!" Then she refused to let me have a mirror to see the back. The "manager" came over and Zoe looked at her and said, "She's not going to like anything, so it doesn't matter." The manager then looked at me and said that they have other clients waiting and I would have leave. OMG!!!! I kept telling them that I did NOT want this style and I kept begging them to wet my hair and see the natural texture which is extremely curly---BEFORE they cut, but they said they knew best. It was beyond awful and it will take years to grow out. I had to get a wig to cover up the hacked up back. I look like a cancer patient with or without the wig. They should lose their license. I have photos if anyone wants to see what kind of work they do at Kenneth's.
