Dr. Younger has been my eye doctor since the early '90s. When he stopped serving my city I tried other doctors but none were as caring and considerate as he. I began traveling to Spartanburg to see Dr. Younger and now some 14 years older & a diabetic, I am still a patient of his. As are my children. Dr. Younger did not push glasses on my kids before they were ready. Fitting in 4 patients into one visit is usually a hassle but it has never been a problem for me at CVA. Though my patience has worn thin by the time I reach his office with my young, restless son, Dr. Younger is always friendly & playful while still getting the job done in a timely manner yet still giving my family the time & attention we need.
My husband had his first appointment with Dr. Younger a few months back due to an unexplained swelling in his lower eye. Dr. Younger explained the problem to him while being very considerate of my husband's aversion to "things" nearing his eyes. Though my husband talked favorably of him, Dr. Younger really won my husband over when, over the weekend, he called to see how my husband was doing with the infection and with the antibiotics. My husband isn't the least concerned now about going back to have an exam with him. Its well worth the 30 minute trip to see Dr. Younger & his staff at Carolina Vision Associates. I would not trust my eyes to anyone else!
