For years when I was first married, we lived in the heart of one of Trenton, New Jersey's wonderful ethnic neighborhoods, between two of the dearest and most talented Hungarian/German women who lavished my husband and I with their old-world dishes; paprikash and spaetzle and pierogi and torts and cakes and pies and pungent roasted meats, soups, stews -- well, you can just imagine -- made only with the most flavorful spices and home-grown (when possible) fresh ingredients. Recipes that, though I tried, and they tutored, I could never duplicate. I never thought I'd taste that again until my first visit to this wonderful restaurant. Thank you for carrying on such a beautiful tradition! Wonderful! Don't walk, run to this place for dinner :)

This is a wonderful small restaurant that offers food from Romania, the chef/owner's home country. He and his wife run the restaurant, cook and tend bar. It feels like you are dining in their home and the food has the "comfort food" feel. Many of the dishes have a German flair and include side dishes like red cabbage, spaetzel, etc. The restaurant offers a full service bar. Street parking is usually easy to find.
