This bakery is the best. Italian People's has been doing it right since they have opened. The bread is always fresh there and the pastries are delicious. If you go anywhere else it's just not as good. Holidays are usually packed to it's better that you preorder your items, but it's well worth it. Everything is baked fresh on premises and your neighborhood grocery store doesn't come close. The bread is chewy on the inside but firm on the outside just like a roll or bread should be. PS the pumpernickel is great for spinach dip ;)

This is the bakery I go to whenever I need baked good, particularly rolls or bread, for a special dinner. I have never been disappointed and always impressed by the freshness of the products. If my son had his way, we would be visiting this bakery for their large cookies every day! As it turns out, we do get there about once a week. The employees are friendly and generous.

I recently moved to this area from North Jersey and Italian People's Bakery was a must for delicious breads, cakes, pies, and other baked goods. With several locations, the bakery serves up freshly baked goods seven days a week. The bakery offers many delicious dessert options such as cheesecakes, a variety of pies, cookies, and different types of cake--good enough to satisfy any sweet tooth! The different types of bread are always fresh and their garlic bread is a great companion to a home cooked (or bought!) meal.
Most importantly, all baked goods are made on premises daily. A word of advice is to get there early on weekends for the best selection.

Honestly I really only can offer a review of their Corn Rye bread, but that alone gets me to stop in if I'm going to be nearby. It's a family favorite and one that's often requested at gatherings and special occasions. The other day I went to pick up a loaf and was pleasantly surprised when the man behind the counter brought me two loaves instead of one- turned out it was buy one get one free! (Monday) I'd recommend the small loaf over the large loaf- seems to be a bit denser and chewier.
