A couple of months ago we decided to go with Fredericks and buy all our kitchen appliances, washer and dryer with them. Mistake.Trouble started with the microwave. We wanted it earlier than the rest of the appliances for install in our brand new kitchen.They called us to pick it up at the store but when we got there it was a defected one. They promised to take off $50, and told us to go pick it up at the warehouse, but to wait for their call till they were sure it was available. They never called so we expected the microwave to be delivered with the rest of the scheduled delivery of appliances. It wasn't. We had a contractor there to install it for us but since the microwave wasn't delivered it was a waste of our money. After long negotiation Frederics installed it for us for free, but refused to take the promised $50 off. We let it slide, but here's the worst: they installed the washer incorrectly by not tightening the hose to the washer properly so now our downstairs neighbor has water damage on her ceilings. Our association and 2 licenced contractors found the problem and tightened the valve. After letting Fredericks know about the problem, they totally denied responsibility because our contractors fixed it, although we have pictures and 3 witnesses. On their website they claim being professional and all, but they can't even tighten a valve?? They seem to be more interested in closing their sale than providing good customer service.
