Tutor Time

So, my friend's child attend Tutor Time, she is in love with this place, but her son constantly picks, pushes, bites, pulls hair, and basically beats up my kids. The boy is 2 1/2, my kids are 3 and 1 1/2. He has no bounderies, etc. I have asked her on several occasions if he is being bullied at daycare because his aggressiveness is just not normal. He hurts animals, etc. Besides the obvious development issues and the fact the mother is in complete denial: today after MONTHS of me asking her to please talk to the "teachers" and director, she says a boy smacked her son in the face without any reason as she was dropping him off. FINALLY she asks about it and apparently this boy has been bullying and terrorising every kid and her son happens to be one of his biggest targets. The "teachers" said they don't like to interfere, and encourage the children to work things out themselves. EXCUSE ME??? If a child is constantly getting beat up and whatnot, they will NOT interfere??? No wonder this child is seriously disturbed. She is a very dear friend of mine, but I cannot allow his child's presence around my children or pets. more

My child attended this childcare for 5 months. They were very expensive and did not do any activites with my child. In the five months she went there all she brought home was a piece of paper colored and that was one time. No matter what time I dropped off or picked up my child they were never doing anythign but playing by themselves. I had issues with the cleanliness too. Often I saw staff changing diapers without gloves and not even washing their hands afterwards. I once saw a teacher go from changing a diaper to wiping a bloody nose and then to serve breakfast and all without gloves and without washing her hands! GROSS! I tried to talk to the director about this and that did not help so I eventually just took my daughter out. more
