I loved this restaurant! The food was delicious and the decor was really colorful. They give you the option of sitting either outside (where it is often noisy, especially if there's good weather) or inside. The portions are generally pretty big and I couldn't finish my meal. I ordered a smoothie, and it was better than Jamba Juice, and slightly cheaper too. I also got a brownie sundae, and it turned out to be HUGE (but delicious), so I ended up taking it home.

The service is quick and they are good with phone in orders. Compared to other take out options, Baja Fresh has menu choices that are very nutritious and tasty. Great place to take your kids.

I've been a loyal fan of Celia's for the past 16 years, and have eaten at 4 of their locations (the Peninsula Ave in Burlingame & the El Camino Real in Palo Alto are the best sites). The food is CONSISTANTLY good, the service is fast and friendly, and the prices are great! We've never had a bad meal at Celia's and will continue to return as long as they're in business. Keep up the good work! Gracias.
Pros: Blended margaritas
Cons: Thick tortilla chips

Our family loves Rojoz Burritos! The burritos are fast and fresh. We love the variety and our favorite is the My Thai. The price is right and the people are extremely nice and the location is always very clean. They have over 20 different varieties of burritos and they support Palo Alto Sports!

Everything about El Grullense is real: the menu items are real Mexican, the people who work and eat there are real Mexican, and the ambiance - or lack thereof - is real, popular Mexican as well. I love to stop by their locations and grab a quick taco or quesadilla. This location in Palo Alto is very convenient, right on El Camino S of Page Mill.
PROS: food, price
CONS: not quite a date night type of place

About once a week I make a beeline for this colorful tacqueria sharing the parking lot with 7-11. I always get the same thing - four carnitas tacos, with chopped onions, cilantro and the hottest salsa they have. Nothing could be better, or cheaper - $5.00. The vegetarian tacos and the flauta plate come highly recommended as well. The meats for the various dishes are freshly cooked for each order and the meals are hot off the grill and very tasty.
If you get there just at noon, you won't wait long. But the line triples in size within about 2 minutes once the lunch hour is in full swing. There's a great jukebox with millions of songs you haven't heard of. Fun to try if you're last in line. It's always relatively clean, and the people are very friendly. They're tolerant of bad spanish too! It's a good idea to get the food for takeout, as it can be quite noisy and crowded at times.
