My kids love going to the show. They would much rather go to stars and stripes than the regular theatre. Their concession stand is reasonably priced and you don't have to leave the comfort of your car. You don't have to listen to people who want to bring their cell phones or talk during a movie.

The Science Spectrum is fun for all ages. They have a variety of activities and events, so that there is something for everyone! They often have special night events and other community events as well. The Science Spectrum has very reasonable prices, and they also offer yearly passes. The Omni Theater is attached to the Science Spectrum.

I love going to the Omnimax Theater at the Science Spectrum. It is a lot like an IMAX. This theater offers a great panoramic view with great surround sound. Most of the time there are very interesting and educational films being shown, but occasionally they offer a "fun" movie. Admission is very reasonable, since this is the only theater of its type in the area. Also, the Omni Theater is at the Science Spectrum, so you could have a great field trip or fun science filled day, all at one location.

Showplace six offers older movies that are no longer in the theaters, but have not come out on DVD. They have an older theater, with old seats. If you go, bring a pillow or seat cushion. Also, the theaters are kind of dingy, so don't wear open shoes. They have $2 movies, and that is a very reasonable price. But, again you get what you pay for here.

I like this movie theater, it is a nice quiet movie theater with reasonable prices. They do not offer very late showings, but have nice seats. They are kind of hard to get to lately because of the construction on the loop and on the spur. But, if you pass it and go back it is not that hard to find. Also, there are not too many restaurants near by that are easy to get to, so you would have to drive.

I really do not like supporting Tinsel Town since they never offer student discounts, and for a small town, they are very overpriced. They do not have late showings of movies either, like you would expect from a larger town. They have a monopoly on the movie business and they know it. If you really want to see a movie, they go for it. Otherwise, go to a normal town!
