I enjoy going to Exile and sorting through the 8 dollar used CDs or bringing some of my old CDs to try to get 4 dollars of credit for each (which is the best deal I've found for used CDs at any record store). I don't usually buy new CDs if I don't have credit because the prices seem high, but that's mostly because 1. I'm really cheap and 2. CDs are expensive in general, and not because this store is particularly expensive. However, I know that they have a good selection for people looking for indie/emo/punk/hardcore stuff, a lot of which is in its own section for convenience. In conclusion, I highly recommend supporting this independent record store.

Sleeping Giant was the course that I first started playing on about 7 years ago. It was my favorite course because of the easy layout of the holes and that the holes aren't long at all. The longest is a 450 yard par 5, and the other par 5 is only 299 yards. Sleeping Giant is perfect for the beginning player to build confidence and skill while still having fun playing. The course is really low key, no dress code; just as long as you don't screw around or play slow, you will be fine.

I signed up for a summer league at Laurel View Golf Course 2 years in a row, and had a blast at the amazing course. It was $75 for the league, and only $10 to golf every Friday morning. I loved being in the league, even though I was one of the worst players. The course offers a good difficulty range with obstacles being annoyingly placed in your way. This course is a recommend by me, go try it out, you wont be disappointed!

In the middle of all the great Pizza places of New Haven, Mario's is my favorite. Wonderful crust, quality tasty sauce and generous toppings, every pizza I have ever gotten from Mario's was fresh and piping hot. Friendly staff that will take special requests. Delivery has always been right on time and each item I have tried on their menu has been something I would recommend. They also have an extensive catering menu with authentic Italian offerings. There is a small eat in section and local Foxon Park Beverages available.

More
Exile on Main Street has two locations in CT, Branford and Hamden. Both stores have a good selection of pop, punk, urban, electronic and goth music. You can also find a decent selection of jazz and classical. Both stores buy and sell used music and if you look often you'll find some great buys. They carry a special selection of local artists and all sorts of music related items.
