Thyme and Season is a pretty nice store. They have your average health food store selection of boxed, canned and frozen organic, natural and vegetarian/vegan products. They actually don't have a very big fresh produce section, though. They have two soups and a few hot dishes every day, and they are pretty inexpensive (especially the by-the-pound hot food, at least when I got it), but the food is not always good and not always replenished when it dries up or runs out. If you shop there on weekends, you will get to try a lot of free samples! I have discovered some yummy new products like Glad Corn and vegan lemon ginger sandwich cookies this way.

Home Services is great. I can get myself up to the second story and can't see the condition of my gutters. No only did they do a perfect job cleaning, but it was a HUGE benefit that they took pictures. Let me see exactly what was going on up there for myself. What an execellent service. Dave was a great guy too. Very friendly and super professional. I would recommend them to everyone.

Eli's on Whitney is a very busy bar, especially on weekends. Tough to get a two seats together sometimes! Large college crowd, due to close proximity of Quinnipiac University. The staff does it's best to keep up, though. Several TV's around the bar.

New to the area from Chicago, we tried Raffaello's on a recommendation and were pleasantly surprised with the good food. Service was good. Although they seated us late for our reservation, they gave us a free antipasto plate to make up for the inconvience. There was an excellent selection of Italian food and several specials to choose from as well. The decor needs some updating from the 80s style of mirrored walls, the food should change a beat. I would definitely dine here again if I had Italian cravings.

We've used this business twice for sheetrocking/taping jobs and they did a fair job. They were not cheap and the staff was ok as far as professionalism, but did work weekends and did what it took to get the job done quickly. The owner does visit your home for the initial quote and is VERY quiet and professional (calling you back immediately when you call them which is a rarity in itself these days with contractors) but rarely makes an appearance again after that - unless he is there looking for one of his employees. I would use them again, but I would make it a point to inspect everything before they walk out the door because I thought their work was ok..but not fantastic.

We found this company through their web site, www.TJB-INC.com. My husband & I hired TJB-INC for our large backyard project. They designed a wonderful patio with a beautiful waterfall next to it. My husband liked the finished project so much that he had TJB-INC install a synthetic putting green in our side yard..The workers were very conscientious and finished the projects on or before the estimated completion times & within the allowed budget. We would use TJB-INC for any future project & recommend them to all how inquire.
