Rowlands is a local nursery that specializes in flowers and trees for the desert. Most of their flowers are locally grown here in New Mexico and are especially hardy for our harsher weather. They also specialize in what is called Xeriscaping; this is where you create landscaping using plants that require little to no water to survive. Rowlands is the expert in town on how to create a Xeriscape garden as well as how to maintain the garden. They hold classes through out the year on various plants and trees and teach you what you need to know to enjoy working in your yard. Any bug problem you have in the yard these are the people to see they know everything. I have yet to see them stumped on a problem we have had.

Mor Furniture for Less is a great furniture store. They have a large selection to choose from and have decent prices. There furniture is a very good quality and I would recommend it. Just a fair warning though the sales people do work off of commission so they can be aggressive. They do have popcorn, cookies and drinks in case your little ones get hungry while shopping.

I would not recommend this company if you are serious about getting pests out of your house. They are extremely unprofessional and rude. It took them 3 days to actually come out to my apartment. They no-showed on 3 different occassions in a course of 3 days. Twice in one day! When they finally showed up they put snap traps down for the mice in my living room and dining room AFTER they had been infomed that we had an 18 month old toddler running around. When I called the manager to complain he was not only rude, but accused me of lying. HORRIBLE SERVICE!!!! I wouldn't even recommend this company to my worst enemy! I've also contacted BBB because I am so disgusted with this company.

This nursery always has a wide selection of plants that are in season. Their staff is quite knowledgeable and extremely helpful. Last time I was in there, I was unsure of which plants to put in the shady part of my patio and one of the staff members there gave me genuine advice. She was even in the middle of watering some of the trees and she stopped what she was doing just to help me until I had everything I needed. Great customer service!!

A few months back, we had some water damage to our wood floor in the kitchen. The guys from Hugh Desert Flooring came out and repaired the area and you can't even tell it was ever damaged and then fixed - it looks good as new, even better than new! Awesome prices and reliable service. The crew was very professional and friendly.

Another way i save money is to buy used furniture - especially for the guest room. Grape vine Thrift always have a great selection of beds and dressers as well as other furniture items - and all for reasonable prices. Great staff, well organized store and lots of parking. I can always find a bargain on a great piece of furniture that I am more than happy to pay full price for! Affordable quality stuff.

This store carries a lot of mostly Asian home decor. The stuff there is really nice and not the typical Asian decor. It's a cute store but a little out of my budget. The price for a glass vase that I wanted was around $70 because of the unusual shape. A benefit is that this store is on the smaller side so you won't have to spend SO much money! :)
