We just purchased our 2nd Hyundai from Southwest Hyundai and are extremely satisfied. The staff are all very friendly and the service is efficient so we did not have to sit around for hours and hours waiting for paperwork. We are very happy with our new Tucson and the staff are very informed on their vehicles and the know their product. We would happily refer others to Southwest.
Pros: Very friendly and efficient staff
Cons: None I can think of.

Quanz is known in Alb. as the best auto shop in town. Many people have there vehicles checked there even if it's farther for them. They are extremely thorough, will do a vehicle pre purchase check for you, and will give you honesty. They are located in a very convenient area for many, as they are just off of Paseo Del Norte and Eagle Ranch Rd. They are open early and you can pick your car up after hours if previously arranged for. You will have service you can trust from this business.

I have been nothing but pleased with service I have received from University Volkswagen. I have had the unfortunate luck of getting stuck in the worst car in the entire world. To everyone who reads this I say: DO NOT BUY A VOLKSWAGEN! However in the two years I have owned my beetle I have dealt with MANY auto shops and University Volkswagen is the best! They are helpful, compassionate, and they know what they are doing. As long as I am stuck in this awful car I will take it nowhere else. Thanks for the great job!

I started looking online for a car I could afford, was worried about my credit. Started talking with an Internet lady named Sheryl. She got me pre-approved so I didn't have to wait around all day. She made an appointment for me, and all I had to do was look at the cars. No pressure sales like last time I was at a different dealership. The staff was nice and friendly, and they showed me how to work everything on the car, and helped put in the carseat for my Grandbaby! I am very satisfied with Southwest Hyundai and will send my family over there.
Pros: Got pre-approved and got car I could afford

Jeff's Gasoline Alley has the best mechanic around - with out a doubt. I always count on Jeff's to do my tune-ups and oil changes on my vehicles. And if I have any other concerns, I call on hime first and foremost. He is honest, reliable and efficient! Excellent service and affordable prices. they are the best around!

I came here to purchase a new car. The salespeople were great and very nice to me. They got right down to business. They didnt pole any crap with me like most dealerships try and pole. If you are buying a car i would definetley recomend this dealership. I can definitley see why it is a five star dealership!

I recently needed transmission work, I called everywhere looking for the best price. didn't find it, but what I did find was a nice clean shop. and a team of mechanics that took the time to make sure i understood every aspect of the repairs my vehicle needed and why and what cost. I left with peace of mind and a great running vehicle, they weren't the cheapest but they are honest reliable and the customer service is out of this world. As a woman its hard to find a place you can rely on, Nationwide Transmissions & Auto Repair is the place! I highly recommend this place.

After you are in the southwest for a few days you will realize that the dashboard on your car is going to need some serious covering.
Dashcovers Southwest is one of the few places that I found was affordable and they custom made the covers to your car not a car brand.
They also will professionally fit the cover to your dash and adhere it with velcro so that it does not slip off.
They will show you the colors they offer and explain what color would be best for your windshield. I had no idea that the color would affect my visiblity.

Chic's Harley Davidson is where you will find the local bikers. I have been here a few times and every time I go there I always see new stuff. Aside from the motorcycles for sale, they have a HUGE clothing section. They even have shoes for girls (like cowboy boots and biker chic shoes). Keep an eye our for the clearance racks as old season stuff always goes 25-50% off. The employees are not the nicest and its hard to try stuff on. The service counter is where things get crapy. For some reason the guys there think they are to cool for everybody else, but unfortunaltey it's one of the only places in Alb. to get your Harley stuff. They do have weekly events and you can get on the email list and every Monday they will send you an email of every bike thing going on in the southwest! Also they do offer a riders-edge class for you first timers looking to learn the right way!

Recently I decided to try this shop I drive past every day and was greatly impressed! The shop was clean, the mechanics were knowledgable and I was surprised by the price being less than Brake Masters which is where I always went until now. I am definately using The Brakestop from now on!
