The beer selection and service is pretty good - the staff has made some great suggestions on beer. However, the ambience is pretty run down, but not in a lived in, ""character"" sort of way, but like a frat house that's seen it's day. The menu is the same old standards, not memorable, but not bad either. I wouldn't go out of my way to come back, but overall it's a decent place to grab a pint.
