Party Time!! 4/12/2009

I've never had that kind of experience. There is not just a restaurant. We could have wonderful entertainment, nice food and... and... it was like a party!! Very nice & clean, comfortable place. Friendly chefs and staffs made us relax and enjoy the time. Maybe you'll be able to remember old TV show called ""The Galloping Gourmet"". more

Magical evening with food. 2/15/2009

My husband and I absolutely adore this restaurant now. To sum it up in a short review, it was an EXPERIENCE. You do not just eat food and enjoy the romantic ambiance, but you actually experience the magic of a kitchen and the food that comes from it. The best part was being able to ask for seconds without the chefs or serves thinking twice about it. Incredible! Pros: Everything... Cons: Pricey but well worth it! Everyone should try this place at least once in their lifetime. more

If your really hungry go here. 12/2/2008

I have eaten at The kitchen Restaurant a couple times and really enjoyed it. The food is very delicious. If you don't like a dish, you can send it back and they will gladly make it right for you. If you really like a dish, they will gladly serve you seconds. You can't lose. What separates The Kitchen from other high-end restaurants is the casual, fun atmosphere. Good service too.\r If your really hungry go here. Pros: Good service Cons: not close to my house more

Great presentation dinner, nothing like it 11/7/2008

Noah and Randall are wonderful. It is not a place that you go to be alone. Everything is interactive. They will make something special for you if you have dietary restrictions. Many courses. Great wine selection. Make reservations far in advance or rent the entire place out. The food is great!! The wait staff helpful and knowledgable. Pros: Randall and Noah, the atmosphere Cons: Price...can't go there as much as I'd like more

Absolutely Fantastic 4/23/2008

This was simply the best dining experience I have ever had. The food, the presentation, the atmosphere and the FUN of it would cause me to go well out of my way to experience THE KITCHEN again. The food was extraordinary, masterly prepared, beautifully presented and only the best available ingredients were used. Couple superb food with the chef's entertaining show and you have a winning combination that cannot be beat. Never have I had the chef walk his guest to the parking lot, thanking each and every persons for coming to his establishment. We even got hugs and well wishes for the remainder of our travels. Make reservations NOW, you will not be disappointed. Well worth the cost for that extra special occasion. Web search THE KITCHEN and read the menu. Pros: Food, Fun, Fantastic more

outstanding but stuffed 2/9/2007

I went to the Kitchen for my birthday, I knew the price was expensive, but it was well worth it. The food was amazing and the staff is very hospitable. Noah and Randy did a fabulous job at entertaing the guests. I would recommend this place anyday of the week. Just remember, the doors don't open until 6:30pm so be prepared to eat around 7:30pm and leave around 10:30pm and later. Make sure you have the next day off from work. We had to work the next morning and we did not realize the restaurant stayed open so late. Each course of food has its own unique flavor. By the fourth course, I was already full and could barely walk by the sixth course. I recommend taking a few less bites in each course, to avoid feeling so stuffed. Enjoy the Kitchen and you will have fond memories. more

Get the name right, people 9/11/2006

Chef Selland, although he owns it, is not the fun man who cooks things in front of you and talks during the whole meal. That is Chef Noah Zonca, and he is the one that makes it a show. Selland, et al's food is wonderful, though, and well worth the money. I'm going again in a couple days :)\r \r Please please please please go. Pros: No children, fabulous fresh-grated wasabi, interactive dining Cons: Cost. But it is worth it. more

Word do no justice 10/29/2005

I am a single mom. Budget is my middle name. My friends and I get together every three months and try new restaurants. When I heard how much this was going to cost I about died! I was almost emabarrassed to admit that I would be spending that kind of money on myself. HOWEVER, tonight was one of the best nights I have ever had! I've never even dreamed that food could taste so great! Noah and the staff were incredible!! The money I spent was nothing. It was a memory and experience that I will actually cherish and talk about years to come. I will make sure I to lets all my clients know of this great restaurant. Everyone deserves this kind of experience and service. Thank You for a great night. Sincerely Sherry DeTinne-Cassel Pros: Warm and friendly, Incredible food, Passionate people more

Absolutely Amazing...An Unforgettable Experience 7/5/2005

This is by far one of the best dining experiences in Northern California! Although the price of the dinner may seem expensive at first, you get much more than what you pay for. Not only is the food absolutely gorgeous, if you like a particular dish, you can ask for 2nds or 3rds. The dinner consists of 5 courses, with an ""intermission"" after the 2nd course-you are lead out onto the patio where an array of fresh oysters, sushi, and other tantalizing cuisine greet you in a courtyard with twinkling lights and luscious vegetation. Throughout your meal, Chef Randall and his staff provide an entertaining commentary/""show."" Moreover, wine is provided at cost! The Kitchen is such a wonderfully delicious experience that my boyfriend and I drive down from San Francisco to enjoy a night here every other month. This is definitely a CAN'T MISS in Northern California. Pros: Absolutely delicious, Highly entertaining, Attentive staff Cons: none (except perhaps, the price, but it's, definitely worth it) more

The Kicthen is an amazing experience! 4/24/2003

The Kitchen is an experience you will not soon forget. Chef and owner, Randall Selland puts on an amazing food show. He missed his calling as a stand-up comic! The evening begins with Randall presenting a monologue of the evening's menu, in a manner only Randall can do. The food is prepared before your vary eyes, with Randall explaining how it is prepared and what goes into the preparation. There are two main courses, and several appetizers, salads, and deserts. The price is definitely worth the quality of the food, the experience of the flavors and presentation and the experience of the evening. So, grab some friends, reserve a table, and enjoy the experience!!!!!! more

Best Dining Experience Ever 8/8/2002

There is no better dining experience than the Kitchen. None. If you are planning on blowing a couple hundred bucks on a nice meal for two, this is the one place where you will actually get your money's worth. Pros: Phenomenal Food, Totally Entertaining, Memorable Cons: $$$$$$, only 3 nights a week more
