I wouldn't even call it a massage, actually, it was so half-assed. One foot but not the other. Jumping around from my back to my hand to my butt without rhyme or reason like some...

Infra-Red Saunas are peaceful and amazing!!! 1/6/2011

There are not many places in Los Angeles that have gotten on the Infra-red sauna bandwagon. Tao Healing Arts Center created a beautiful and peaceful environment in the sauna area where I am able to relax and read a book as the sauna does its deep healing on me. The saunas are new and clean and the prices are extremely reasonable for the healing experience. Do yourself a favor and add infra-red sauna sessions to your healthy lifestyle to detoxify your body and give your muscles that extra love. more

Worst massage of my life 12/23/2008

I wouldn't even call it a massage, actually, it was so half-assed. One foot but not the other. Jumping around from my back to my hand to my butt without rhyme or reason like someone who had never given a massage in their life. About fifteen minutes of just, I kid you not, holding my head and another five holding my feet. It was the most money-wasting, stressful hour I have ever spent. The opposite of relaxing. And the entry way smells like body odor. Never again. more

Body + Spirit Healing 8/25/2008

I went for one hour of Shiatsu with Fumiko yesterday, and I'm still glowing 24 hours later. She really got inside my muscles with her very strong fingers and found all my secret stress points. The cranial and foot portions of the massage were heaven, the back was just the right mixture of pleasure and pain. Nice simple, spare Japanese setting. My posture is improved as is my relationship with the universe. more
