We arrived and were seated in an alternate ballroom even though we came at an off time 3:45 pm. Our area had one waiter with 5 tables at any given time.

Serenity Now 11/14/2002

I have dined at T-Cooks around 4-5 times and I have never enjoy meals like I do when I am at the Royal Palms. Strong effort to exceed customers expaectations is evident from the setting, to the service and there is not one item on the menu that doesn't melt in your mouth. Of course, I am priveledged enough to have connections inside the Royal Palms, but this does not give me a biased opinion. Your rating T-Cooks as the #1 restaurant is Phoenix is 100% accurate. Pros: Ambience, Service, Food Cons: Expensive, that's, it more

Personal Service - Great Experience 10/27/2002

My husband and I took his parents to T. Cook's for their 25th anniversary. The staff went above and beyond to make their anniversary perfect. They even prepared, at my request, a special menu without the prices so that our guests could choose whatever they wanted without the pressure of knowing how much it was costing us. It did cost quite a lot, but T. Cook's is the kind of place where you can drop a couple hundred bucks in one night...and feel good about it. Pros: Service, Food, Service more

vintage romance 10/3/2002

We have stayed at the Phoenician and many local resorts and eaten at some of the finest restaurants in town. We found this quite by accident. It was such a find! Friends of ours were celebrating their 20th anniversary and staying at the Royal Palms and planned to eat at T Cook's for the celebration. We were entranced by the atmosphere. We felt like we had stepped back long ago in the past. It felt like it was another country too. The food was artistic and delectible. We enjoyed the background singing going on in another part of the restaurant. It was distant from our table but really added to the ambience. Pros: food is very artistic, the waiter was fun, very elegant Cons: expensive desserts, you have to use Valet, need more privacy more

Swank 9/10/2002

Fabulous place to live the good life - the service is the best in town and there is nothing better than soaking up some piano music and martinis and pretending like you can afford it all night after night. The romanitc mood is palpable - the gorgeous lounge and bar make you want to grab the nearest well dressed patron and take it to one of the casitas sprinkled across the sumptuous grounds. Great for early or late night. more

I think T Cook's is just the most romantic restaurant in Phoenix. My husband took me to dinner and proposed to me at the Royal Palms. It was a night I'll never forget. more

EVEN BETTER... 7/27/2002

T. Cook's will soon be even better. They are currently remodeling their North Terrace to make it climate controlled. Once that is finished that is going to be the hot spot for dining in winter and the cool spot for summer dining. I personally can't wait, as with everything else it will be great. Pros: ROMANTIC, 4 STAR ALL THE WAY, BEYOND ACCOMIDATING Cons: NONE, NONE, NONE more
