Roku owns it. Best sushi ever. 8/6/2006

I absolutely adore Sushi Roku. They not only have the most amazing Japanese cuisine, but their staff is completely stellar. Every time I've been in there I've had a great experience. The hostesses are lovely, the waiters are friendly, and the sushi chef's are completely charming. They have this cool little lounge that is adjacent to the bar where you can really wind down and relax while filling up. The music they play has a cool lounge vibe. It's like being in a really trendy place without all the trendiness. There's good lighting and great ambience. Not only is the scene fabuoulous, but the food is to die for. I have spent hours in there with my girlfriends enjoying innovative cocktails (try the Tokyo Cooler) and ordering sushi. It's a great way to wind down after work, but even better to start off your night. Sushi Roku is definitely the Hot Spot. Pros: service, food Cons: parking (but worth it) more

Best we have had in the states!!!!! 7/13/2006

All I can say is WOW!! We are from Japan and have a strong passion for great sushi. I am impressed how many Americans are becoming so sushi savvy and falling in love with the sushi cuisine. We also were blown away to see that sushi roku has Master Sushi Chefs on their staff who pick out the sushi daily and have it flown in from the best fish markets in LA. That is the only way to keep the quality at sushi high levels. Many people call themselves sushi man but the Master Sushi Chef is a big deal in Japan and even more impressive for a restaurant in the US to recognize and appreciate. KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK!!! Thanks from all the sushi lovers!! Pros: food, service and ambiance Cons: none more

Vacuum-packed sushi in a dungeon! Part 1 4/8/2006

Here's an example: We ordered the $10 shrimp tempura and received a small plate with 2 fried shrimp. I think the other shrimp escaped, because we are used to at least 5-6 shrimp for $6. more

What a find 1/2/2006

a group of us had a little b-day dinner at Sushi Roku and were blown away by the food, service and ambience. Pass on those ridiculously expensive resurants full of posers and try this little gem. It's funky and hip without being annoying and the sushi is to die for! Our server was a delight - very knowledgeable. He convinced us to go out on a limb on our dinner and we were so pleased with his recommendations. Pros: sushi/sashimi, ambience/views, service more

Hidden Gem 9/27/2005

This hidden Gem in the corner of the third floor at the Caesar's Forum shops is incredible. Go for dinner or even better make it over there for happy hour where you'll receive unheard of deals on sushi and drinks at the bar. Try and make it Wednesday through Friday evenings when Ryan is behind the bar. His Texan hospitality and overall knowledge of the menu and drinks he pours makes you feel extremely comforatable. The restaurant is clean and well designed without being pretentious or stuffy. If you are in Vegas make it a point to check this place out. more

Best Sushi in Vegas 3/10/2005

Went to Roku for the first time on Friday. We go to the one in Santa Monica usually. Very similar to Nobu at the Hard Rock but with an amazing view of the strip from our table. The sashimi was as fresh as in LA and the staff was nice and high energy. Great spot for Las Vegas. Pros: View, Fresh more
