A Cinti Classic 9/10/2005

Having moved from out of state, I was completely ignorant of the Cincinnati Chili tradition. At first taste, I didn't like it, but I have to admit it's really grown to be a favorite. Skyline has many local branches, and the downtown Clifton is my favorite location. It's common for Cinti "natives" to debate the qualifites of Skyline vs. Gold Star chili. Skyline has a spicier flavor, with a runnier sauce. more

Unique Tasty Treat 9/3/2005

Not being from the area, I have never heard of putting chili on a big plate of spaghetti, but it's still rather good! I also tasted one of their burritos, but wasn't impressed - especially for the price. It was around 5 bucks for one burrito! I would say, if you're going to try it - then try the 3 - way! They also have "Cheese Coneys", but these seem quite unappetizing and unhealthy to me. Another plus is they are more than generous with their free refills. They even offer to give you a full to go cup of whatever you were drinking! Who else does that?? more

Cincinnati+Best Chili=Skyline 8/12/2005

Well well well, if there are some people who live outside of Cincinnati that visits the town, they would remember Cincinnati as the "Town with the Best Chili!" Everybody knows this. That's why they have been in business for such a long time. We see a lot of Chili Place come and go, but Skyline is always here to stay. Arguably, there is another chili place here in Cincinnati that can equal Skyline's chili... that is the Pleasant Ridge Chili! more
